The scientific journal "Sociology of Law" was created for the development of scientific contacts between specialists in the field of sociology of law in Ukraine and other countries. Founded in 2013.

Based on the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 886 of 02.07.2020 (Annex 4) he journal is included in the List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine of category "B" in the field of legal sciences (081 "Law").

The magazine is published four times a year.

The scientific journal "Sociology of Law" publishes the results of scientific research of scientists of higher educational institutions and research institutions of Ukraine, foreign scientists, associate professors, graduate students, doctoral students, as well as citizens who conduct research on their own initiative.

Materials published in the scientific journal "Sociology of Law" belong to the field of law (field of knowledge: 08 "Law"; specialty "081" Law ").

Program goals and thematic focus of the journal: coverage of historical and theoretical problems of the emergence and formation of the sociology of law, the contribution of Ukrainian science in the formation and development of the sociology of law; coverage of sociological problems of legal regulation of the most important spheres of public relations, features of the manifestation of law in public relations, social conditionality of law, as well as the impact of law on social processes; coverage of social conditions and causes of legal behavior, the formation and development of certain groups of individual and collective behavior and social relations under the influence of law.

The magazine is registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine (Certificate of state registration of the KV series № 20487-10287 PR dated 24.12.2013).

The journal is included in the international scientometric database Index Copernicus International (Republic of Poland).

The editorial board consists of leading scientists from Ukraine and foreign countries.

The National Library of Ukraine named after VI Vernadsky accepted for repository issues of the scientific publication "Sociology of Law", which are presented on the portal in the information resource "Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine".

The scientific journal Sociology of Law is registered in the scientometric database Google Scholar.
