Materials published in the scientific journal "Sociology of Law" belong to the field of law (D8 "Law").

The purpose of the journal is to highlight and disseminate the results of modern scientific research in the field of legal sciences, in particular the sociology of law, as well as to promote the development of theoretical and applied aspects of legal science.

Оbjectives of the journal: coverage of historical and theoretical problems of the emergence and formation of the sociology of law, the contribution of Ukrainian science in the formation and development of the sociology of law; coverage of sociological problems of legal regulation of the most important spheres of public relations, features of the manifestation of law in public relations, social conditionality of law, as well as the impact of law on social processes; coverage of social conditions and causes of legal behavior, the formation and development of certain groups of individual and collective behavior and social relations under the influence of law.
